Wild Borneo

Borneo has to be very high on any traveller's list for nature photography, with Orangutans at the Sepilok Sanctuary, proboscis monkeys, hornbills and coral reefs just to mention for starters. There is a rare combination of rainforest, mountains and marine ecosystems next to each other. I found that the skies there had some of the most striking colour and patterns I have yet to find anywhere. This shot was taken looking towards the city of Kota Kinabalu, with the mountain behind it.
