Moraine Lake

Moraine Lake, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada

An early start was required to get to this spot before it got too busy with other tourists. I was fortunate to be able to set up and take this view in; one of the most famous in all of Canada. Watching the tops of the mountains catch the early dawn light was a privilege I will always be grateful for. I took a sequence of shots over about an hour or so before the crowds arrived, choosing this one for the gallery for its calming blue tones.
