Two Towers

Thanks has to go to Emily, the pilot based at Taupo’s Floatplanes for this exposure. I have visited Taupo for over 20 years and I learned to skydive there. So I know a little about local flying conditions. This day was an unusually calm and clear one to fly over the three local mountain ‘treasures’ or ‘taonga’. In this shot is Mount Doom, better referenced as Ngauruhoe. Mount Taranaki can be seen in the distance.
