Wallow

The hippo can have a mass of up to 2.5 tonnes, but this heft is well concealed by their aquatic nature. Taken early one morning, these animals were very easy to miss as we walked by on the bridge above. For some reason I decided to stop and have a look about which was lucky. I am not sure if they intended to be masked by the rocks in the river, but it made for a nice composition regardless.
